No outside food, beverages or alcohol allowed on park property including parking lot. Strictly Enforced. Bottled water is ok. No outside ice chests.
Rules & Safety
All who participate in any water Activity are required to fill out a participant Waiver.
For the following Activities : Swim Beach , Aqua park, Paddle boarding please fill out the Aqua Park waiver.
For Cable Wakeboarding please fill out the Cable Park waiver.
*If under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must complete the participant waiver form . Once we have your waiver on file, you will not be required to sign another waiver until the following season.
Height Requirements For Full Size Cable
Rider must be a minimum of 42 inches tall to ride the Full Size Cable l). For the Cable Park, the owner is able to make exceptions and allow people under 42 inches to ride the Full Size Cable, under the following circumstances:
1. The rider has passed a swim test.
2. The rider has made a turn around the System 2.0
3. The rider shows the ability to let go of the handle when necessary.

No height Requirements just have two be age 6+

• Guests are requested to follow staff’s instructions at all times.
FAQ’s
Safety is our top priority so please, be sure to bring sunscreen and a reusable water bottle to protect from dehydration and heat exhaustion on hot summer days. Other items accepted into the park: tents (no larger than 10×10) and umbrellas (for a fee), chairs, inflatables for swimming with (no large rafts), CGA day-use life jackets (we provide life jackets for Aqua Park and Wakeboard Park sessions only).
Please, leave alcohol, drugs, pets, food and beverages other than water in a single reusable water bottle. All are prohibited from Velocity Island Park property.
Entry is FREE if you are not participating in any of our attractions at the park (Aqua Park, Wakeboard Park and Beach).
Yes, we are ADA accessible and reserve paved, in-close proximity parking spaces for ADA guests.
Yes, our onsite parking is FREE and we reserve multiple ADA accessible spaces.
Yes, we have restrooms, changing rooms and an outdoor shower onsite.
Although artificial, our lake functions just as any other natural ecosystem would with many living organisms calling it home. We use human and animal-safe aquatic products to help minimize unwanted organisms like algae. Our small guppie-like fish frequently found near our Aqua Park are called mosquitofish. These fish are the best at reducing mosquito larvae typically found in natural lakes.
No animals are allowed on park property including parking lot. Please, do not leave your animal in your car, especially during our hot summers. Service animals are accepted.
Water depth varies throughout the park but on average the depth is 12ft.
No, we do not provide refunds. However, we may provide a credit on a case-by-case basis. Please, contact our Shop at 530-723-6885 or info@velocityislandpark.com with questions.
No, we do not provide life jackets for full-day use. We provide life jackets during guests’ time spent on our Aqua Park and Wakeboard Park. You are welcome to bring your own Coast Guard Approved (CGA) life jacket onsite for full-day use.
No, we do not provide storage for your personal belongings onsite. Please, leave valuables at home. You are able to leave your items on tables and chairs at our park, however, Velocity Island Park is not responsible for any missing or damaged items.
No, smoking is not allowed onsite, including the parking lot.

No outside food or beverages including alcohol and any ice chests are allowed in the park. A reusable water bottle is allowed for water ONLY. Our drinking fountain is located near our restroom and changing area.
There are no ins and outs. Outside food & drink is strictly prohibited on the entire property including the parking lot. Water ok.
