Dixon's closest full-feature water park
Velocity Island Park is located in Woodland, CA, just 15 minutes from Dixon via I-80 East to I-5 North. Dixon sits right between the park and the Bay Area, which makes it one of the shortest drives of any community in the region. You are closer to Velocity Island than most Sacramento neighborhoods.
The park has been operating since 2013 on 15 lakefront acres. It is the only park in the Sacramento region with a cable wakeboard system alongside a 16,000 sq ft floating obstacle course, swim beach, and on-site restaurant. For Dixon families and outdoor enthusiasts, it is the best summer day trip option north of I-80.

From Dixon
Take I-80 East toward Sacramento, then merge onto I-5 North. Take Exit 536 (East Street / Road 102) and turn right on East Street. The park is on the left. About 15 minutes without traffic.
From Highway 113 near Dixon
Head north on Highway 113 to I-80 East, then take I-5 North to Exit 536. The route is simple with one highway transfer.
